this is a collection of the songs which grew with me like a scar that stretches and bends with the skin it is carved in.

as part of a continuing series called "the latest permanent traces" they were released in packs of two on the web as they appeared. now after five editions they add up to a full length album available on this limited c40 tape and included download.

all tracks feature live drums by guest musicians daniel gädicke and kurt kreikenbom and great dynamo. due to this mayor impact on the results I quite consequently subtitled and labeled them as "songs with drums".

these recordings were done in full d.i.y. glory at franticworld, düsseldorf, germany. drumtracks were played and recorded in hamburg by daniel gädicke and in berlin by kurt kreikenbom.
